Our collection is proudly handmade and locally produced, using mostly recycled and reclaimed materials—particularly in our furniture and mancave décor range. Each piece is built to last, built to impress, and built with purpose.
Ralph Schoenberger
The Founder of Skullgear
Ralph Schoenberger is the creative force and founder behind Skullgear. Originally from Germany, Ralph immigrated to Cape Town in 2004 with his wife and three daughters.
A self-made entrepreneur, he also runs a successful construction firm, known for delivering bespoke projects and earning an outstanding reputation in the industry.
Ralph’s obsession with concrete, steel, and raw wood shapes the distinctive Skullgear aesthetic—bold, industrial, and masculine.
He’s an avid collector of man cave memorabilia, a true petrolhead, and the proud owner of a private knife collection, vintage motorcycles, classic cars, and rare motor spares.
Skullgear is more than a brand. It’s a lifestyle forged in steel, sweat, and soul.
